Convert once. Store anywhere. Stream everywhere.

iVault is a desktop app that turns a video file on your computer into a playable streaming link (HLS) on storage you already own, then hands you the URL.

From file to link in five stages

These are the stages iVault shows on every job. Each one is checkpointed, so a failed upload resumes where it stopped instead of starting again.

  1. Analyse

Reads the file's length, streams and resolution with ffprobe.

  2. Convert

FFmpeg on your machine makes HLS at 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p.

  3. Upload

Segments go straight to the storage you connected, within its limits.

  4. Verify

Checks every file is reachable at your public URL before calling it done.

  5. Ready

One stable master.m3u8 link. Copy it into any player.

Your storage. Your keys.

iVault has no account and no server of its own. It only talks to the services you set up.

  • Credentials stay in your keychain

Access keys, bot tokens and sign-ins live in Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain or the Linux Secret Service, never in plain files.

  • No telemetry

No analytics, crash reporting or tracking code. Your library and job history are a database on your computer.

  • Only what you connect

Uploads go to your storage. TMDB lookups and Gemini translation use your own keys, and only when you ask.
